Dr. Purday has a keen interest in paediatric anaesthesia and has served as a lead paediatric anaesthetist and intensivist in different institutions, including in Canada during his fellowship and consultant years. His expertise in paediatric care extends to his role as a consultant in East Kent since 2015.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Purday has made significant contributions to medical education. He was involved in establishing the Peninsula medical school and played a pivotal role in developing clinical skills, humanities, and the final year of the program. He furthered his passion for medical education by completing a diploma in this field.
As a committed professional, Dr. Purday has also been actively engaged in research and has shown particular interest in intensive care and paediatric anaesthesia.
