Sports & Exercise Medicine
About
Dr Jones is passionate about using exercise as medicine, promoting physical activity as a key part of recovery. He has contributed to the ‘Moving Medicine’ project, an initiative by Sport England and Public Health England, developing resources on paediatric obesity and physical activity. He is also highly skilled in musculoskeletal ultrasound and biomechanics, which help diagnose and guide treatment for joint, muscle, and tendon conditions.
After graduating in Medicine from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2007, Dr Jones trained in General Practice before completing a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine at University College London in 2015. He has since earned specialist registration in SEM and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (FFSEM UK).
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
