Dr Chelvi Kukendrarajah, Consultant Paediatrician and had been the Lead Clinician, working for the Central North West London NHS Trust within their Community Paediatric Services. She has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of social communication disorders like Autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and co-existing conditions like ADHD, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD- known as Dyspraxia in the past), learning difficulties, and sleep and feeding disorders.

During her Higher Speciality Training, she focused on neurodevelopmental conditions and neurological disabilities, being awarded a Master's by University College London. She is highly experienced in assessing these conditions using the Developmental, Dimensional and Diagnostic Interview, DISCO, ADI-R, diagnostic interview checklist for neurodevelopmental assessment, and Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule and Bayley III.
Dr Kukendrarajah strives to work multidisciplinarily with a team of speech and language therapists, clinical psychologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. She regularly works with other agencies outside of medicine, like Education and Social Services, to ensure a comprehensive and safe treatment plan for her patients.
Dr Kukendrarajah has developed an excellent service for ASD patients, using evidence-based practices and NICE recommendations to guide her. She aims to provide the best care possible to her patients and endeavours to follow the best evidence-based practices and NICE guidelines in doing so.
