About
Dr Patel first qualified with her BDS in 2013 from Queen Mary University London and went on to gain experience at a number of hospital posts where she trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery, paediatric dentistry, and community dental services.
She also completed a master's degree in primary dental care with the University of Kent in 2016. Following this, Dr Patel spent three years specialising in orthodontics at the Royal London Hospital as well as Ashford and St Peter's Hospital and achieved her MFDS RCS(Ed) in 2015. After obtaining her postgraduate doctorate degree in orthodontics and also achieved a DClinDent in 2019 before going on to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Dr Patel has made contributions to her field and has published her work in journals such as the Journal of Orthodontics as well as the British Dental Journal. She has also been invited to present her work at the British Orthodontic Conference.
