About
He specialises particularly in colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease, with other interests in liver disease, particularly viral hepatitis and hepatology.
He gained his medical degree in 1989 from the University of Melbourne and undertook his training at the Royal Melbourne, Alfred, and Frankston hospitals.
He has been involved in research and has published widely in journals, including major international gastroenterology journals. He is also the head of gastroenterology at the Frankston and Rosebud hospitals at Peninsula Health, as well as the director of the Peninsula Liver Clinic.
Dr Badov is a member of the Gastroenterology Society of Australia and the Australian Liver Association.
