Dr Danilo Caruso – Master Pilates Trainer Dr Danilo Caruso is a Master Pilates Trainer at Seventeen Physiotherapy Clinic, specialising in movement, strength, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. He works with a wide range of clients, from those recovering from injury to athletes and performers looking to improve performance, mobility, and long-term physical health. Danilo has a strong foundation in the performing arts, holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Dance from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, alongside further training at Codarts in the Netherlands. His background in dance has given him a deep understanding of the body in motion and the demands of sustainable physical performance. He discovered Pilates during his professional dance career, recognising its value not only for fitness but as a highly effective method for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and functional strength. Danilo became a certified Pilates instructor in 2009 and has continued to develop his expertise, completing a comprehensive Classical Pilates training programme in 2019 and founding Pilates Anatomy. Danilo has worked with a diverse client base, including elite athletes, performers, and individuals recovering from injury, with experience at leading institutions such as Equinox and Ten Health & Fitness. His approach combines classical Pilates principles with modern movement science, creating tailored programmes that restore function, build strength, and improve the way people move.
