About Dr Clare Rees
Dr. Clare Rees is a dedicated haematology consultant at Frimley Park Hospital, where she has served since 2017. She offers comprehensive care to individuals with various haematological conditions, including cancers. Dr. Rees earned her medical degree with honours from the University of Edinburgh in 2008, following which she completed her junior doctor training in London. Her specialisation in haematology was further enhanced through registrar training as a NIHR academic fellow at Imperial College London. She holds a membership with the Royal College of Physicians and holds Fellowship status with the Royal College of Pathologists. With a patient-centred approach, Dr. Rees values the individuality of each patient and strives to provide them with exceptional care. Her areas of expertise include general haematology, encompassing conditions such as anaemia, abnormal white blood cell counts, and platelet counts. She also specialises in immune haematology, including conditions like ITP (immune thrombocytopenic purpura) and haemolytic anaemia. Additionally, she has a keen interest in thrombosis, anticoagulation, obstetric haematology, myeloproliferative disorders, lymphoma, and myeloma. She is the clinical lead for thrombosis at Frimley Park and the haematology lead for the obstetric haematology service. Dr. Rees is committed to delivering high-quality care and remains dedicated to the well-being of her patients.
