Dr. med. Imke Christina Wehage ist Fachärztin für Plastische und Ästhetische Chirurgie. Ihr Studium der Humanmedizin absolvierte sie an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität in Magdeburg. Danach folgte die erste Anstellung als Assistenzärztin in der Klinik für Plastische, Wiederherstellungs- und Ästhetische Chirurgie an der Abteilung Handchirurgie bei Prof. Dr. Hisham Fansa am Klinikum Bielefeld. Im Jahr 2010 schloss sie dort ihre Facharztausbildung zur Plastischen und Ästhetischen Chirurgin ab. Danach war sie als Oberärztin am Klinikum Bielefeld bis zum Jahr 2017 tätig. Im Januar 2016 legte sie bei der Ärztekammer Westfalen-Lippe die Prüfung zur Zusatzbezeichnung Handchirurgie ab. Nach ihrer Tätigkeit im Klinikum Bielefeld wechselte Frau Dr. Wehage in eine große Bielefelder Praxisklinik und vertrat dort die Schwerpunkte rekonstruktive Eingriffe im Gesicht, minimalinvasive Gesichtsverjüngung (Hyaluronsäure und Filler), Gesichtschirurgie, weibliche Intimchirurgie und Handchirurgie.
Seit dem 01.07.2021 ist Dr. Imke Christina Wehage verantwortliche Ärztin bei „aesthetik" in der Privaten Gemeinschaftspraxis Schwabedissen. Nebenbei fungiert sie als Mitglied zahlreicher und verschiedener nationaler Gesellschaften für Chirurgie und engagiert sich auf nationalen und internationalen Fachkongressen.
