Dr Babak Daneshmand

Dr Babak Daneshmand is an experienced Hair Transplant Surgeon at the London Hair and Cosmetic Surgical Centre (LHCSC) with over 25 years of experience. He completed his medical degree at the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, Iran in 1994. He wrote his thesis in the field of plastic surgery and his research project was published by one of Iran's premier universities. Dr Daneshmand later worked for over four years in plastic surgery before broadening his expertise. He completed training in general surgery, earning his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He also gained expertise in Emergency Medicine and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. Since 2010, Dr Daneshmand has served as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine. In 2015, he expanded his expertise to include dermatological surgery, participating regularly in multidisciplinary meetings within the dermatology department. Dr Daneshmand later gained specialist expertise in FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction). He takes pride in collaborating with the exceptional team at LHCSC to provide top-notch services. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Daneshmand is deeply committed to teaching and training. He serves as an examiner for the RCEM Membership and Fellowship exams, an instructor for life support courses such as ATLS, ALS, and EPALS, and a course director for ATLS and ALS. Additionally, he acts as an Educational and Clinical Supervisor for junior doctors in his NHS practice.
