About

Ashley grew up in Kent and graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Physiology. He graduated with one of only three awards given to his cohort and met the conditions to study dentistry at King's College London (Guy's King's and St Thomas). He graduated from King's in 2014 and after graduation won the prestigious ‘John McLean' award from the British Dental Association for a multi-disciplinary case. He also went on to win the case of the year award for central Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery.

Ashley achieved an MSc in Primary Dental Care (General practice) and a second Masters degree in Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent), developing a special interest in root canal in order to offer his patients a high level of competency in this skill. He gained the membership diploma from The Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (MFDS) in 2016 along with being shortlisted as a finalist as Young Dentist of the Year in 2016 at both the Private Dentistry and Dentistry Awards. In 2017 Ashley was selected for the ‘Fast tract 4' award by ‘Dentistry' magazine.

Ashley is particularly interested in functional aesthetics (the harmony between form and function) and has completed his core studies with The Dawson Academy from America – one of the world's top teaching institutes for advanced restorative dentistry. Ashley has also achieved a Post Graduate certificate in Implant dentistry to enable him to offer comprehensive care to his patients.

Ashley has carried out research with The National Migraine Centre (UK) looking at the relationship between teeth grinding (parafunction) and migraine (oral facial pain) and has lectured at the British Dental Association headquarters in London. Ashley also has a research interest in the latest root canal instruments. Ashley is very caring and will take time to explain all aspects of treatment that may be needed.

In his clinics, Ashley is kind and gentle and aims to build great rapport, by really listening to his patients. He aims to acheive outstanding results for his patients using the latest techniques, learnt during his extensive postgraduate training.

“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
