About
Mr. Asadullah Aslam is a highly qualified Consultant Urologist with a wealth of experience in the field. He earned his degree from the University of Health Sciences in Pakistan in 2006. After completing his specialist training in General Surgery, he relocated to Ireland to further specialise in Urology.
His impressive list of qualifications includes Membership with the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012, followed by a Masters from the National University of Ireland. In 2017, he achieved the prestigious title of Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh (FRCS Urol), and he was also elected as a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU).
Mr. Aslam's dedication to continuous learning and specialisation led him to pursue post-fellowship training in France, Germany, Spain, and the UK. During this time, he honed his expertise in various subspecialty areas, including renal stone disease, endoluminal treatment of upper tract urothelial cancers, thulium laser enucleation of the prostate (ThuLEP), and prostate cancer diagnostics and treatment.
In late 2017, he began his role as a consultant urologist at Letterkenny University Hospital within the Saolta Healthcare Group. During his five-year tenure, he served as the single-handed lead urologist, demonstrating his leadership and clinical skills.
Mr. Aslam is an active member of the European Association of Urology and Urology in Emerging Countries. He maintains strong clinical and research connections with colleagues in Belgium, France, Germany, and the Middle East.
