His clinical interests include non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), liver fibrosis, hepatitis B and C, autoimmune liver disease, liver cirrhosis, liver cancer screening, acid reflux, bloating, abdominal pain and other gastrointestinal symptoms. He also performs and interprets FibroScan assessments as part of liver disease investigation and long-term monitoring.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Koffas is involved in research and medical education within hepatology and gastroenterology.
