He also possesses extensive experience in benign biliary and gallstone surgery and maintains a keen interest in minimally invasive hernia surgery. In addition to his surgical expertise, Mr Ilczyszyn has clinical interests in oesophageal physiology, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
Mr Ilczyszyn studied at St George's Hospital Medical School in London, graduating in 2006. He completed his higher surgical training in North East Thames. Following this, he undertook a two-year fellowship in metabolic bariatric surgery at the Centre for Weight Management and Metabolic Surgery, University College London Hospital. Mr Ilczyszyn is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of BOMSS, IFSO and AUGIS.
