About Dr Alice Scott
Dr Alice Scott is the Medical Director at Essex Private Doctors. She is a compassionate and experienced General Practitioner, dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services with a personal touch. She completed her medical degree at University College London in 2008 and became registered as a GP with the General Medical Council (GMC) in 2016. Dr Scott also holds a Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. Dr Scott finds immense joy in her role as a private GP, enjoying the opportunity to build genuine connections with the patients she cares for. She particularly enjoys helping patients figure out their symptoms. Her commitment lies in identifying the root cause and delivering effective solutions to enhance the wellbeing of her patients. Dr Scott has expertise in the fitting and removal of contraceptive implants and removal of coils. She is also passionate about helping women navigate the menopause journey, holding an Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care and is recognised as a Menopause Specialist by the British Menopause Society. At Essex Private Doctors, she offers expert, holistic menopause care, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Dr Scott strives to create a space where individuals feel genuinely heard and valued, enabling her to conduct thorough assessments of the entire clinical picture. She is able to use her network of excellent consultants if a referral to secondary care is necessary.
