Dr. Desai-Gupta is also actively involved in medical education and training. She has served as an Educational Supervisor for Psychiatric trainees and a Medical Student Tutor and Examiner with the Universities of London and Manchester. She is the founder of the ‘In-Sync' multi-professional simulation training program in Psychiatry, recognised with the ‘Innovative Training of the year 2017' award by University College London Partners (UCLP).
Furthermore, Dr. Desai-Gupta has been registered as a media spokesperson with the Royal College of Psychiatrists since 2010, providing expert guidance on various psychiatric topics to media professionals.
With a focus on helping adults with ADHD, treatment-resistant anxiety and depression, patients from ethnic minority groups, and women with mental health problems, Dr. Desai-Gupta is deeply committed to providing personalised and holistic care to her patients. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Mumbai, India, and holds a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Psychiatry from the University of Manchester.
