Samsara Gynaecology is a specialist healthcare and education provider based in Box Hill, Victoria. Founded by Dr Kiran Kalian, the practice is built on principles of integrity, excellence, care, and respect, aiming to deliver evidence-based clinical and surgical care in a patient-centred and cost-effective manner.
The clinic focuses on office-based gynaecology, offering women the convenience of consultation, examination, and minor procedures within a single visit. This includes services such as IUCD insertions and removals, vulval lesion excisions, colposcopy and biopsy, Bartholin’s cyst drainage, and hysteroscopy. A dedicated Menstrual Clinic supports women with abnormal uterine bleeding through in-office hysteroscopy—a well-tolerated alternative to hospital-based procedures for most patients.
Samsara also offers care for a wide range of conditions involving the uterus, cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and vulva, including fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, polyps, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, infertility, menopause, and more.
In addition to clinical care, Samsara Gynaecology plays an active role in medical education. Dr Kalian is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Monash University and Clinical Lead for education at Box Hill Hospital. The practice supports accredited training to advance professional development in women’s health.
