Independent Physiological Diagnostics (IPD) is a physiologist-led healthcare provider specialising in advanced neurological and sleep diagnostic testing across the UK. Established in 2019, IPD is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care through both in-clinic services and a unique home-based testing model. This flexible approach ensures accessibility and comfort for individuals of all ages, offering the option to undergo diagnostic procedures either at home or in a clinical setting.
IPD’s team of highly trained clinicians uses the latest technology to perform a wide range of diagnostic services, including:
- Convenient Home Testing
- Video Polysomnography
- Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT)
- Actigraphy
- Electroencephalogram (EEG)
Additional services include Transcutaneous CO₂ Monitoring and tailored paediatric and hospital-based assessments.
In addition to diagnostics, IPD provides a suite of evidence-based therapies such as:
- Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)
- Non-invasive Ventilation (NIV)
- Sleep Positional Training, and
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi).
