Dr Zoe Isaacson
Psychiatry
About
Alongside her psychiatric qualifications, Dr Isaacson holds a Master’s degree with distinction in Systemic and Family Therapy. This intensive four-year training allows her to take a holistic view of mental health, exploring not only the biological factors that contribute to distress but also the interpersonal, cultural, and contextual influences that shape how people experience and express emotion.
Dr Isaacson assesses, diagnoses and treats patients from childhood (age six) through to older adulthood. She has devoted much of her career to Youth Mental Health, recognising the enormous value of early intervention.
In her NHS consultant role, she oversees the care of children and young adults aged 8 to 25. Her work spans medication management, therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples and families, and support for young people navigating complex developmental, emotional or relational challenges. She considers it a privilege to be involved in so many personal journeys and approaches each case with hope, curiosity and respect.
Dr Isaacson is fully registered with the General Medical Council. She remains committed to excellence through continuous professional development, regular appraisal cycles, and a practice grounded in empathy, evidence, and genuine partnership with her patients.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
