Dr. Yasir Parviz is a UK Board-Certified Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Head of the Department of Cardiology at Emirates Hospital Jumeirah. Dr. Parviz’s clinical expertise includes percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), intravascular imaging (IVUS, OCT), intracoronary physiology (FFR, iFR), and minimal contrast angiography. He also performs renal and peripheral vascular interventions, rotational atherectomy, and management of complex coronary lesions.
His clinical interests focus on optimizing coronary interventions through advanced imaging and physiology technologies, and on the cardiovascular management of patients with chronic diseases, particularly diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
