Dr. Wolfram Steens ist ein hochbegabter orthopädischer Chirurge mit Fachkenntnissen in Spezial-Op's, Sportmedizin, Chiropraktik, und Knorpelchirurgie. Er hat langjährige Erfahrung und führt jährlich 650 erfolgreiche Behandlung durch, inklusive Primär-Op's, Revisions- und Endoprothetische Op's und arthroskopische Behandlungen an der Hüfte und Kniegelenk, sowohl als auch Spezial-Rekonstruktive Behandlungen für Knochendefekte im Becken.Er ist ein in Deutschland wohl bekannter Chirurg, mit fünf Jahren professioneller Ausbildung an der renommierten ENDO Klinik in Hamburg. Er ist außerdem einer der wenigen zertifizierten Knorpel-Spezialisten in Deutschland und behandelt durch Sportunfälle verursachte Knorpelschäden an Hüfte und Kniegelenken. Weiter, ist Dr. Steens einer der wenigen Chirurgen in Europa, der im Jahr bis zu 200 "PSI Knie Prothesen" implantiert. PSI steht für "Patient-specific Instruments", ein innovatives System, das Chirurgen erlaubt, jedes Implantat perfekt an individuelle Patienten anzupassen. Er spielte eine signifikante Rolle in der Weiterentwicklung des ZimmerBiomet's PSI Systems. Mit seinem Reichtum an Wissen und Erfahrung bietet er weitgehende und hochqualitative Betreuung an für alle seine Patienten. Dr. Steens gibt regelmäßig praktische Operations-Kurse und spricht an nationalen Symposien und Kongressen über Operationstechniken. Mit dem Start des ECTOS OP-Kurses gibt er fortgeschrittenen Chirurgen die Möglichkeit, ihre Fachkenntnisse zu verbessern. Er besitzt einige professionelle Mitgliedschaften, so wie die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Orthopädie und Trauma-Chirurgie, Society for Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Endoprothetik, und die International Cartilage Regeneration and Preservation Society.
