About Dr William Wynter Bee
Dr William Wynter Bee is a Consultant in Musculoskeletal, Sport and Exercise Medicine with experience in the assessment and management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries.
He works both privately and within the NHS at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, based at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. He also works with elite athletes and has a particular focus on golf. He is affiliated with the European Tour Performance Institute and is currently completing a PhD at the University of Edinburgh examining injury patterns and illness in elite professional golfers, supported by the European Tour Group and The R&A.
Dr Wynter Bee completed higher specialist training in Sport and Exercise Medicine in the London deanery and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine. He holds a master’s degree in Sport, Medicine, Exercise and Health from University College London and is the immediate past President of the Sport and Exercise Medicine Section at the Royal Society of Medicine.
He has significant experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound for both diagnostic assessment and image-guided procedures. He completed a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound at the University of East London, achieving a distinction. He has also completed the International Olympic Committee Diploma in Elite Athlete Mental Health, with distinction, and contributes to the development of mental health strategy for elite golfers within the European Tour Group.
His clinical practice focuses on non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions, with an emphasis on clear diagnosis and structured management plans to support recovery and return to activity.
