Orthopaedic Surgery
About
In 2013, Dr Rudge became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. He then completed two advanced fellowships: one at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, focusing on shoulder arthroscopy, and another at RNOH, centred on complex shoulder and elbow reconstruction. As the Watanabe Travelling Fellow, he further expanded his expertise by visiting leading arthroscopic surgery centres across the UK and Ireland.
Appointed as a Consultant at RNOH in 2016, Mr Rudge’s practice is dedicated entirely to shoulder and elbow disorders, including instability, rotator cuff injury, arthritis, fractures, and tendon pathology. He works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care. He is an active member of several professional societies and a reviewer for The Bone & Joint Journal.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
