He currently sees patients in Liverpool (Alder Hey Children's Hospital) and Stoke-on-Trent (University Hospital of North Midlands).

With a robust academic portfolio, Mr. Vakharia has authored over 80 publications, including peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His clinical and research interests encompass selective dorsal rhizotomy, craniofacial surgery, epilepsy surgery, complex dysraphism surgery, and neuro-oncology. Notably, he has contributed to advancements in computer-assisted planning for SEEG and laser ablation , and robotics in epilepsy surgery. He ran a randomised control trial of a novel robotic stereotactic device. He was awarded his doctoral thesis (PhD) from University College London in 2020.
