Ihre Ausbildung begann mit dem Studium der Humanmedizin an der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, wo sie 1992 ihr medizinisches Staatsexamen ablegte. Im Jahr 1993 promovierte sie zum Dr. med. Nach Abschluss ihrer Ausbildung zur Chirurgin im Jahr 2000 spezialisierte sie sich weiter im Bereich der Plastischen, Ästhetischen und Rekonstruktiven Chirurgie.
Dr. med. Then-Schlagau legt großen Wert auf eine einfühlsame, individuelle und kompetente Betreuung ihrer Patientinnen und Patienten. Vor jeder Behandlung oder Operation nimmt sie sich viel Zeit für ein ausführliches Beratungsgespräch, um die Wünsche und Bedürfnisse ihrer Patientinnen und Patienten kennenzulernen. Gemeinsam wird dann ein individuelles Therapiekonzept erarbeitet, das auf die jeweiligen Bedürfnisse abgestimmt ist.
Dr. med. Then-Schlagau ist bestrebt, ihren Patientinnen und Patienten zu einem natürlichen und attraktiven Aussehen zu verhelfen. Dabei stehen die Harmonie und Natürlichkeit der Ergebnisse im Vordergrund.
