About
Dr Rethnam offers a patient-centred approach to their practice, ensuring that patients feel safe and cared for at every stage of their journey. They completed their medical degree and Orthopaedic training at St John's National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore, one of the premier medical institutes in India. Dr Rethnam is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
After working as an Orthopaedic Consultant in India, Dr Rethnam moved to the UK where they completed Orthopaedic training in the All Wales Higher Surgical Training Programme, having gained experience from most of the Orthopaedic units in Wales. Following training in the UK, they completed a Lower Limb Arthroplasty fellowship at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane, Australia, where they gained experience in complex primary replacement surgeries, computer-assisted knee replacements and revision hip and knee replacement surgeries.
Dr Rethnam has vast surgical experience and maintains a high level of patient care.
