About Mr Timothy Boyling
Timothy Boyling is a dedicated Optometrist at Cooper & Leatherbarrow Darlington with over 15 years of experience. Graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Optometry from the University of Bradford in 2007, Tim's career includes a decade at an independent practice and nine years as a Specialist Optometrist at James Cook University Hospital. At James Cook, Tim gained a range of optometric skills, including complex refraction, optical and cosmetic contact lens fitting, low vision assessment, and postoperative cataract assessments. He played a crucial role in consenting for 'second eye' surgery. Beyond in-practice services, Tim extends his care to home visits for patients unable to travel. Registered with the GOC and a member of the British College of Optometrists and Association of Optometrists, Tim is not only a skilled professional but also an advocate for treating patients with the same respect and care he would expect for himself.
