About Mr Thomas Tsitsias
Mr. Thomas Tsitsias is an experienced consultant thoracic surgeon with a broad range of expertise in thoracic surgery. He currently practises at Hammersmith Hospital and has received extensive training in the field. Mr Tsitsias completed his training in cardiothoracic surgery (CCT) within the London Deanery. His training involved rotations through several prominent hospitals, including Guy's, Harefield, and St. George's hospitals. He received an ETHICON Travel Fellowship from the Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery of Great Britain & Irealand (SCTS) and completed a Clinical Fellowship at the prestigious Thoracic surgery department of the University of Toronto. Mr. Tsitsias specialises in lung cancer, mediastinal tumours, pneumothorax, pleural effusions, empyema, chylothorax, chest wall tumours, and bronchoscopy. He has received comprehensive training in cardiothoracic surgery and has developed expertise in managing various thoracic conditions, particularly those related to lung pathology, mediastinal tumours, and pleural diseases. His clinical practice involves both open and minimally invasive surgical approaches to treat these conditions, contributing to the well-being of his patients.
