Er hält das Diplomfortbildungsdiplom der Österreichischen Ärztekammer. Neben seiner klinischen Tätigkeit engagiert sich Prim. Dr. med. Thomas Schwarzgruber in der medizinischen Fortbildung und hält regelmäßig Vorträge und Seminare zu verschiedenen Themen der Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie.
