About Dr Thomas King
Dr Thomas King is a Consultant Dermatologist with broad expertise in both medical and surgical dermatology. He graduated with an MB ChB from the University of Leicester in 2010 and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2013. He later completed a Master of Medical Science in Medical Education at the University of Nottingham in 2019, reflecting his strong commitment to teaching and training. Dr King is an active member of the British Association of Dermatologists and plays a significant role in undergraduate medical education at the University of Sheffield. As Deputy Director for final year medical students, he is closely involved in curriculum delivery and mentoring future doctors. Clinically, Dr King manages a wide range of skin conditions, including inflammatory diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, and acne, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. He is experienced in a variety of procedures, including mole and skin tag removal, cryotherapy, and the excision of cysts and lipomas. In addition to his adult practice, Dr King runs a paediatric dermatology clinic at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, where he provides specialist care for young patients with complex skin conditions.
