Dr Thammer Alhariqi is a Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine dedicated to providing urgent medical care to children. He possesses extensive experience in managing acute illnesses and injuries in paediatric patients, ensuring they receive immediate and effective treatment. His approach combines clinical expertise with a compassionate understanding of the needs of young patients and their families during stressful emergency situations.
He completed his Paediatrics Board training in Al Khobar, establishing a strong foundation in general child health. He subsequently advanced his expertise by joining the Paediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship programme in Riyadh in 2016. This specialised training has equipped him with the advanced skills necessary to handle complex emergency scenarios and critical care cases.
Dr Alhariqi has developed particular clinical interests in toxicology and the use of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) within the emergency setting. These specialised skills allow for rapid diagnosis and management of poisoning cases and other time-sensitive conditions. He is committed to maintaining high standards of care and staying abreast of the latest advancements in emergency medicine.
