After qualifying, she completed a number of fellowships across the United States in a number of centres of excellence, including St John Hospital in Michigan and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
She is a American Board-Certified Surgeon and holds professional memberships with the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, the American Association of Cancer Research and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
