About Ms Suzanne Clements
Dr Suzanne Clements is a Consultant Dermatologist on the General Medical Council's specialist register. She consults on all aspects of dermatology, including diseases of the skin, hair and nails. Ms Clements studied Medicine at the University of Manchester, graduating in 2001. After becoming a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), she began her dermatology training at the Dermatology Centre at Salford Royal Hospital in Manchester. She then trained at St John's Institute of Dermatology at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals in London. Her three years of research into rare genetic skin diseases at the University of London culminated in a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Medicine. Ms Clements later undertook further dermatology specialist training in Belfast. Ms Clements has presented at national and international dermatology and scientific meetings and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. In 2012, the Irish Association of Dermatologists awarded her the Burrows Cup for Best Laboratory Research. Ms Clements also completed a two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine from the University of Manchester in 2016.
