Dr. Suzan Hatipoglu is a Consultant Cardiologist with a specialist interest in cardiovascular imaging, heart failure, cardiac amyloidosis and cardio-oncology. She graduated with honours from Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty and began her cardiology training at a prestigious Cardiothoracic Centre in Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Hatipoglu furthered her expertise by undertaking specialist training in cardiac MRI (CMR) and cardiac CT at Royal Brompton Hospital, London.

Her clinical practice covers all aspects of general cardiology, with advanced skills in cardiac imaging techniques such as echocardiography, CMR, cardiac CT, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Hatipoglu also has a deep focus on heart failure, cadiac amyloidosis and cardio-oncology, with a proven track record of managing complex cases in these areas.

She has made significant contributions to research, publishing extensively in high-impact cardiology journals, and has been involved in innovative service developments during her roles at Kettering General Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, and previous Lead for Heart Failure at East Kent Hospitals. She currently specialises in cardio-oncology and cardiac amyloidosis and her NHS practice is based in University College Hospital and National Amyloidosis Centre. She is an International Cardio-oncology Society certified service provider for cancer and heart disease. 

Dr. Hatipoglu was recognised for her clinical and academic excellence, receiving Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), and the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (FSCMR). She hold an MSc degree from Imperial College, London in Patient Safety.
