Dr Suliman Abdullah is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist specialising in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility. He is based in Dubai and currently sees patients at New Hope Gynaecology and Fertility Hospital.
Dr Abdullah completed his primary medical qualification in 2000 at Omdurman Islamic University in Sudan. In 2004 he began his clinical MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and became certified by the Sudan Medical Specialisation Board in 2008. He later completed further fellowship training in Infertility at Nadkarni's Hospitals in India, followed by another fellowship in Reproductive Medicine & Infertility at the University of Khartoum Fertility Centre, Sudan in 2019.
Prior to joining New Hope Gynaecology and Fertility Hospital in April 2022, Dr Abdullah practiced at Dr Amal Alias Fertility and Gynaecology Centre, followed by Conceive The Gynaecology Centre and Fakih IVF. Through his clinical experience he gained in-depth expertise in all aspects of reproductive endocrinology, including infertility treatment, ovulation induction, transvaginal oocyte retrieval, IVF/ICSI, embryo transfer and intrauterine insemination.
In his current position, Dr Abdullah's clinical practice involves the treatment and management of male infertility and female infertility through testicular sperm retrieval, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and open gynaecological procedures. He also sees women with the following conditions:
Recurrent implantation failure
Recurrent miscarriages
Poor ovarian reserve and poor responders
Polycystic ovary syndrome
Endometriosis
High risk pregnancy
Dr Abdullah is a keen researcher and has published his work in both national and international journals which have been presented at several conferences. He holds professional memberships the following societies:
