Dr Sibtain Anwar is a Consultant Anaesthetist. Dr Anwar completed their PhD in Systems Neuroscience of Persistent Postsurgical Pain at the William Harvey Institute in 2014. Dr Anwar holds an Executive Masters in Health Economics and Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science, awarded in 2022.
Dr Anwar is President of the Pain Medicine Council at the Royal Society of Medicine. Dr Anwar was awarded a Visiting Professorship at Harvard University in 2017. Dr Anwar is an Editor for the Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anaesthesia. Dr Anwar is an Executive Scholar at the European Society of Cardiology and The London School of Economics.
