Dr. Srinivas obtained his Psychiatry specialisation from the Yorkshire School of Psychiatry, Leeds, and Northwest Deanery (Manchester) in the UK. He is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK, an Associate member of the International College of Neuropsychopharmacology, and an International Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Throughout his career, Dr. Srinivas has worked in esteemed healthcare institutions in both the UK and the UAE before establishing OPENMINDS Psychiatry. His clinical practice encompasses a broad range of mental health issues, including stress reactions, adjustment disorders, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, panic disorders, sleep disorders, dementia, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and various mood and anxiety disorders coexisting with medical conditions such as hypo/hyperthyroidism and diabetes. He also specialises in addressing mental health issues related to pregnancy and emotionally unstable personality issues.

Dr. Srinivas's specialisations include general, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, with sub-specialisations in substance misuse psychiatry and neuropsychiatry. He has a keen interest in motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), offering comprehensive and tailored treatment approaches to his patients.
