About
Following medical training at Oxford, Dr McDonald undertook basic surgical training predominantly in the southeast of England. Afterwards, they underwent specialist training in radiology at Cambridge. Dr McDonald was then selected for prestigious fellowships in musculoskeletal imaging at both the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, and the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. During their radiological training, Dr McDonald also studied law at De Montford University, Leicester, which led to the award of a Graduate Diploma in Law.
Dr McDonald has held the position of clinical lead for musculoskeletal imaging at Cambridge University Hospitals. They have also served on the educational board of the highly regarded Cambridge training scheme for radiology and supported anatomy teaching for medical students at Christ's College, Cambridge.
