Consultant Orthopaedic and Limb Reconstruction Surgeon

Miss McMahon is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Limb Reconstruction Surgeon based at the Childrens Orthopaedic practice at The Portland Hospital. She works alongside orthopaedic surgeons Mr Robert Hill and Mr Jonathan Wright and is experienced in the management of fractures and children's conditions of the hip, knee and foot. Her major interest is in limb reconstruction, lengthening and deformity correction, guiding children and their families to bespoke solutions for problems that were evident at birth or developed after an accident or infection.

Miss McMahon trained in London and Edinburgh after graduating from UCL Medical School in 2003. Her surgical rotations, based at St Bartholomew's Hospital and The Royal London Hospital, were focused on children's orthopaedics, trauma and deformity.

She undertook the National Fellowship in Children's Orthopaedics at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. She went onto a further Fellowship in Trauma and Limb Reconstruction at King's College Hospital. She began her consultant career at the Royal Free Hospital before taking a consultant appointment at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
