Ms Sarah A Thomas
Physiotherapy
About
Her clinical expertise spans treating pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, and pelvic girdle pain, utilising techniques such as exercise prescription, Pilates, pelvic floor training, and sports massage therapy. Sarah's career began with her first post at a large NHS teaching hospital in Croydon before she spent a year in Western Australia. Upon her return to the UK, she worked in an independent hospital in Croydon and subsequently joined a private practice, where she honed her skills in managing musculoskeletal injuries, including spinal issues and sports injuries.
In 1989, Sarah moved to Kent, where she initially provided services for the Army and a local rugby club, before transitioning back to private practice. In 1990, she joined the team at St Saviour’s Hospital in Hythe, where she dedicated nearly 20 years to developing a special interest in women’s health. It was during this time that she specialised in treating women’s pelvic health issues, including incontinence, prolapse, post-surgical care, pelvic pain, and pregnancy-related conditions.
Today, Ms Sarah A Thomas combines her extensive experience from both NHS and private practice to deliver personalised care, empowering her patients through tailored rehabilitation programs to achieve optimal outcomes.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
