Mr Santosh Bhandari

About
He completed his basic surgical training in Kent, followed by higher surgical training in the East Midlands, rotating through University Hospitals of Leicester and affiliated hospitals. He also undertook research into desmoid tumours in familial adenomatous polyposis at St Mark’s Hospital between 2010 and 2012, earning an MD from Imperial College London for this work. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2018 and was appointed as a substantive consultant at Peterborough City Hospital in 2019.
Mr Bhandari is actively involved in teaching and mentoring surgical trainees at different stages of their careers, and he regularly instructs on national training courses. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he maintains professional membership of the Royal College of Surgeons and the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain & Ireland.
