About Mr Sanjeev Taneja
Mr Sanjeev Taneja is a Consultant Urologist specialised in general urology and urological oncology. He has over 37 years of medical experience and over 22 years of experience in urology. Dr Taneja completed his medical degree in 1984 at the University College of Medical Sciences, India. He then completed his Master of Surgery degree at the University of Delhi, India in 1988. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow in 1994. He completed post-qualification diplomas in Urology from University College London, UK in 1998 and Laparoscopic Surgery from Louis Pasteur University, France in 2005. He currently practices as a Consultant Urologist in the following private hospitals and clinics: • Cobham Clinic, Luton LU4 0DZ • Ramsay Pinehill Hospital, Hitchin SG4 9QZ • Spire Harpenden Hospital, Harpenden AL5 4BP Dr Taneja typically sees patients with the following urological conditions: • Bladder, prostate, kidney and testicular cancer • Kidney stones • Prostate problems • Urinary infections and incontinence • Epididymal cysts • Blood in urine (haematuria) • Scrotal swelling He has several years of experience performing laparoscopic surgeries, vasectomies, circumcisions and prostate surgeries. He has specialist interests and expertise in laparoscopic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, prostate cancer diagnosis and laser stone surgery.
