Dr Samah Al-Akhdar is a highly experienced paediatrician with a strong background in general paediatrics, neonatal care, and the management of complex childhood conditions. She holds a medical degree and a Master’s Degree in Paediatrics from Ain Shams University in Cairo, as well as being a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
Dr Samah began her career in Egypt, where she spent nine years working in paediatrics and neonatal intensive care units at a government hospital. She later moved to Sharjah, where she gained further experience in both public and private healthcare settings before joining Amina Hospital in Ajman in 2017. In 2022, she became part of the paediatrics team at Mediclinic Al Jowhara Hospital where she currently serves as a physician.
Her clinical expertise includes the management of general paediatric diseases, growth and neurodevelopmental concerns, care for preterm neonates, childhood asthma, allergies, and paediatric emergency cases. Known for her compassionate approach and evidence-based practice, Dr Samah is dedicated to providing high-quality, family-centred care to children of all ages.
