Dr. Arshad began her medical career at King Edward Medical University, graduating in 2001. She pursued her specialist training in psychiatry through the Charing Cross Scheme and at the renowned Institute of Psychiatry and Maudsley Hospital in London. She became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2008. During her training, she further advanced her expertise by earning a Master’s degree in Epilepsy (MSc) with distinction from King’s College London.

With a particular focus on intellectual disabilities, Dr. Arshad previously served as Clinical Director for Intellectual Disabilities at a prominent NHS Trust in London. She is also an associate member of the Academy of Medical Educators UK and a member of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILEA – UK). A recognised trainer, educator, and mentor for medical trainees, Dr. Arshad has completed advanced training as a Coach in Quality Improvement through the Institute of Health Improvement, US.

Dr. Arshad specialises in managing a wide range of conditions, including intellectual disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum conditions, and other neurodevelopmental disorders alongside Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, sleep problems and psychosis. Her extensive clinical expertise allows her to address a variety of challenges with compassion and precision, ensuring tailored treatment plans that meet the unique needs of her patients.
