About Mr Rory Norris
Mr Rory Norris is a Consultant Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon specialising in hand, wrist, and upper limb peripheral nerve surgery. He practices at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, based at Peterborough City Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital, and also sees private patients at the Avicenna Clinic, Ramsay Fitzwilliam Hospital, and the Hamptons Hospital in Peterborough. Mr Norris graduated in medicine from the University of Dundee in 2004 and subsequently served for ten years in the Royal Army Medical Corps, including two operational tours of Afghanistan. He completed his higher training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in the West Midlands and was awarded a Master’s degree in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery. He undertook advanced subspecialty training through the prestigious Advanced Training Post fellowship in hand surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. In 2018, he was awarded the British Hand Surgery Diploma and received the Vivien Lees Gold Medal for achieving the highest score in the national examination. Mr Norris has extensive experience in the assessment and management of a wide range of hand and upper limb conditions, including nerve disorders. His practice is focused on delivering specialist surgical care supported by comprehensive clinical expertise in orthopaedics and hand surgery.
