Osteopathy
About
Rory's expertise spans a diverse range of populations, including athletes from various sports such as kickboxing, tennis, football, and marathon running. As a qualified Sports Massage therapist, he applies his skills to aid in recovery, enhance performance, and alleviate joint pain and stress. Rory employs deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and lymphatic drainage to effectively release tension and promote tissue healing.
In his Osteopathy practice, Rory integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs, including joint mobilizations, soft tissue work, and manipulations. His comprehensive approach ensures that patients receive personalised care aimed at optimising their recovery and overall health.
Beyond clinical practice, Rory is dedicated to professional development and enhancing his expertise. He has pursued specialist training with the C.H.E.K institute, focusing on holistic health practices, as well as cardiac rehabilitation and Falls Prevention through his Postural Stability Instructor qualification. He is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Classical Osteopathy to further expand his skills, particularly in cranial techniques.
Outside of work, Rory maintains an active lifestyle with training in Kettlebells and free weights, and enjoys exploring the Surrey countryside. He is committed to advancing Osteopathy in the UK and holds membership with the Institute of Osteopathy.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
