Dr. Roopa Shinde is a Fetal Medicine Specialist with considerable experience managing Foetal medicine units as well as diagnostics. She is an expert in handling complex pregnancies including multiple pregnancies, and abnormal Foetal echo cardio cases.
Dr Roopa obtained her MBBS from Adichuchangiri Institute of Medical Science, Karnataka, and later her MD in obstetrics and gynecology from JSS Medical College, Karnataka, India. After completing a fellowship in fetal medicine at Mediscan Systems in Chennai, she pursued a further post-doctoral fellowship in Fetal Medicine as well as both a diploma in prenatal invasive procedures and a diploma in invasive Prenatal Procedures from Italy.
She has since worked as a consultant in fetal medicine in Mediscan fetal medicine center, Seethapathy high-risk pregnancy unit hospital, and ARC international fertility center in Chennai.
She is a member of the international society of ultrasound in obstetrics & gynecology and has contributed to various international and national conferences and publications regarding fetal medicine.
