Dr Roelien Stapelberg is a exceptionally experienced Board Certified Consultant Orthodontist based in the UAE with a decade of experience in treating patients of all ages. She currently sees patients at Dubai London Hospital and Dental Center and Sno Clinics. Her expertise lies in creating beautiful and functional smiles, specifically focusing on adults who desire low-maintenance treatment and children with developing malocclusion who benefit from early correction.
Dr Stapelberg completed his Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery at the University of Pretoria in 2006. She later completed her master's degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from Malmö University in Sweden in conjunction with European University College in Dubai in 2013, as well as receiving her European Board Certification by the European Orthodontic Society in 2014. She also holds a Master’s degree in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (UK).
Dr Stapelberg's treatment approach is tailored to the unique needs and goals of each patient, ensuring the easiest and shortest treatment possible. She offers a range of treatment options, including Invisalign aligner treatment (as a Platinum Elite provider), Incognito fixed lingual braces, ceramic clear braces and traditional metallic braces. She also has expertise in surgical orthodontics, the treatment of impacted teeth using various appliances and methods, early treatment of children with deteriorating problems, and growth guidance and modifications of the jaws.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Stapelberg actively contributes to the field of orthodontics through her research. She has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed orthodontic journals, covering a range of topics, such as long-term stability and treatment timing of impacted teeth.
