Following this, she pursued further specialisation with a fellowship in behavioural neurology at the University of Toronto, Canada, which she completed in 2018.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Khallaf is actively involved in advancing the field of neurology. She holds the position of secretary general of the Saudi Cognitive and Behavioural Neurology Chapter and is a national lead for dementia services within the Ministry of Health.
