About
Mr Shahid has a special interest in trauma and lower limb surgery. They have undertaken specialist training at centres across the UK, including Wrightington, Merseyside, York and Lincoln. This included a fellowship in lower limb arthroscopy at the Sir John Charnley Centre, Wrightington, and a knee fellowship at York Teaching Hospitals.
Mr Shahid is dedicated to advancing the field of orthopaedic surgery and regularly delivers talks and lectures at national and international venues. They also share their knowledge and expertise by teaching medical students at universities in Nottingham and Lincoln. Their clinical research has been featured in peer-reviewed journals, including The Lancet.
