Prior to her role at Al Das Medical Clinic, Dr Ammar was head of the pediatric and neonatal department at Jebel Ali International Hospital for seven years then extended her practice to work with Mediclinic Group also as a Specialist Pediatrician.

Dr Ammar is a member of the Emirates Pediatric Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the Swiss Society of Pediatrics (SSP).
